Concluding our mental health awareness weekend, Lyn Green (Participation Officer for Vulnerable Children and Young People at Gloucestershire County Council) asks what are the challenge for us as individuals and churches to assure we can identify and help those young people with mental health issues, and improve their emotional well being. Rachel Newham, founding director of Think Twice, an organisation raising awareness of mental health issues, explores what the Bible can teach us about how we should respond as Christians to issues surrounding mental health. And how the church can hopefully become more welcoming of those who suffer with mental health illnesses.
