SUPPORTING DAVE AND FRIN

Dave and Frin will be leaving towards the end of 2016 to begin volunteering  for three years at an organisation which seeks to break the cycle of human trafficking and provide support to women caught in the sex trade. Worcester Baptist Church has committed to support them financially and through prayer.

In 2010, Frin and Dave went on a short-term mission. During this time, they visited an organisation and helped with various jobs that needed doing.

Frin had always felt the call to go back, but it wasn’t until Dave was made redundant in March that they felt God prompting them to return to teh organisation. At the end of October they will be moving to a language school in Bangladesh to study Bengali before heading to the organisation in January. Dave will be project managing all the different locations within the organisation, working with both local tradespeople and volunteers to help serve the women more effectively. Frin will be working directly with women still in the sex-trade; building relationships and helping them find freedom.

We will be making their quarterly prayer letter available at the mission notice board at the back of church. If you would like to support them finacially you can do so either through giving a gift in the special offering envelopes (also available at the mission notice board) or by making a regular gift. Contact Pastor Darren for more information.
